The members are Christian, and yeah, some of their songs do talk about God, but they're not trying to shove their beliefs down the fans' throats. Focus on the music, and try not to let the fact that the members believe in God influence how much you love them. That's very close-minded. I'm agnostic and they are my favorite band, ever, and I'd never let their religious views stop me from obsessing over the beautiful music.

I didn’t mean for that to sound so closed-minded, it’s more of a relative statement to my life.  I live in an extremely unfriendly band of the bible belt in southern US.  It has unfortunately put a bad spin on religion for me.  I feel you should know many of my friends have faith in God, and it doesn’t deter me from liking them.  Please don’t think of me in that light if you can help it, but I understand your defense and appreciate your message.  I love Emery, and I’m sad to have come across them after my teenage years.  Would have loved growing up with this <3
